Teren stares. Porter stares. Opens his mouth, ready to continue –
"Why don't y'grab a round? On me." Cedric suggests. The other man snorts, slouches off, and Cedric shoves out a chair. "Don't reckon he ever got off the boat."
Teren follows Porter with her gaze until it makes sense to shift it over to Cedric, at whom she stares for a long, contemplative moment before slithering into the offered chair.
Whatever her thoughts on that revelation, Teren keeps them to herself as she surveys the room, briefly pausing every so often to let her gaze land appraisingly back on Cedric. She's waiting, no doubt, to hear the real reason they're here: or if not anything suspicious, at least there must be something he wanted to talk about.
